I'm an adventurer, expedition manager, gear geek, outfitter, event planner, educator, and conservationist . In 2009 I began my traveling by heading across the pond with work and travelled through the majority of Europe for the next year. After my time there ended, I went east. I travelled through parts of Asia and the South Pacific and more, before settling in Jackson Hole, Wyoming. After a year in the Yellowstone and Teton wilderness, I joined up on the Mongol Rally and headed east again. The next couple of months were life-changing. We travelled by motorbike through 12 countries in Europe and Central Asia, where we then gave our bikes to charity in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia. Since then I have been seeking the next adventure and have not looked back. In 2013 I became a source to sea paddler of the Mississippi River,  and founded my own adventure group,  Mountain Folk Adventure LLC. These travels have raised over $10,000 for various charity organizations and non-profit groups.

For me, travel and exploration are a cure for the world’s problems. A cure that educates the naive, balances one-sidedness, builds tolerance for differences, and allows a person to develop a broader understanding of this world we share.
